Yoga Teacher

Jennifer Falagrady-Katona (JFK) began practicing yoga at Full Circle Yoga in 2007 after being invited to attend by a former Prana Vinyasa®, graduate.  She is currently in the 200-hour Teacher Training program (Prana Vinyasa®,) at Full Circle Yoga. From her very first class she knew that yoga was what she had been looking for, a way to focus and calm the mind through elegant motion. Inspired by Ashtanga her thematic flows will lead you through a natural progression meant to deepen your breath and encourage the body to explore new depths without taking yourself too seriously. Jennifer has found inspiration from many wonderful yogis including: Lewis Rothlein, David Swenson, David Williams, Max Strom and Kathryn Budig; who have contributed to her evolution as both a yogi and now a teacher. One of her favorite sayings is “If you want to view the world more clearly you need to invert it”.

Philosophy

Yoga is not the flexibility of your muscles but of your mind. Peace cannot be found from without; only within. We cannot change another; only ourselves. When you find the one perfect pose it is not the shape that your body has taken it is the realization that there is no separation between you and the universe.
