Rose Batignani

E-RYT 200, RYT 500

Yoga Teacher

Rose stumbled upon yoga more than 10 years ago at the gym and had a wonderful teacher who pushed her to experiment with all styles of yoga…and she did! She fell in love with the dynamic flow of yoga, as well as the ability to connect the mind and body during practice, allowing her to let go of her busy day in the corporate world. Through the encouragement of others, Rose became a 200-hour certified yoga instructor in Hatha Yoga and completed her 300-hour yoga certification with a Kripalu affiliated yoga center. She is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance.

To supplement her training, Rose is prenatal yoga certified; completed a Healing Yoga for People with Cancer Workshop with Sharen Patel from the Moffit Cancer Center; trained under Manju Jois in Ashtanga Yoga; became certified in Thai Yoga Bodywork; and is a Reiki II Practitioner. As well as numerous workshops on restorative yoga, yoga as therapy, arm balances, inversions and yoga philosophy.

In addition, Rose is a Physical Therapist Aide at Florida Hospital and is enrolled in pre-requisite classes to apply for the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. Rose hopes to apply in 2016 for the Physical Therapy program at UCF.

Rose teaches yoga to all ages and student levels – including students new to yoga, students with injuries, intermediate and advanced practitioners; as well as a variety of styles, including gentle/restorative yoga, yin, hatha basics, prenatal yoga, vinyasa, ashtanga, and power yoga.
