Leslie began practicing yoga regularly in early 2015 to relieve low back pain.
After a few sessions, she began to notice that yoga was providing much more than physical benefits of increased flexibility, balance, and strength; she found herself less stressed, more patient, and more peaceful in daily situations.
This feeling of mental balance is what lead her to dig deeper into her practice, spending more time on her mat and seeking a variety of yoga and meditation styles, classes, and teachers to expand her experience.
This led to Leslie encouraging and inviting her friends and family to join her at classes and yoga workshops in hopes of sharing these new found mental and physical perks.
Feeling inspired by a desire to share yoga to a wider audience, she enrolled in the Ignite Yoga & Wellness 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program in late 2017 and began teaching immediately upon graduation.
She is grateful for all opportunities to teach and share her journey both on and off the mat.
